
Mariano Fortuny is known for his unusual use of colors and this early piece is no different. An unknown, unnamed pattern from the early 1920’s with a large pattern of scrolling leaves, crowns and flowers in a large ogival pattern. Unusual coloring of a ground of deep green with pinkish parchment overlay with matching border. This piece is unsigned. This piece is made up of three widths and fully lined.
Condition: Excellent condition on the front with various spots on the backside lining that do not go through to the front. Pocket on the backside at the top for hanging with a rod.
