Fortuny's vintage, circa 1940’s, cotton in his "Orfeo" pattern named for the 15th century Palazzo Pesaro-Orfeo, which, as Mariano Fortuny's home for 50 years, is now known as the Palazzo Fortuny. A ground of buttery yellow with leaves of blue, green and silver metallic. Edged in an antique metallic silver trim with a design that mimics the leaves. Backed in a blue/green silk velvet. (A discontinued pattern)
The beauty of Fortuny is that no two runs are ever the same. Each is a unique piece of art in its own right, with variations in color and texture.
