English, circa 1810, Georgian tortoise shell etui with silver scalloped cartouche on both front and back and are not engraved. The push button clasp is in working order and opens the lid to reveal a fully fitted interior with five sewing tools: small tube for needles, tweezers, scissors, crochet hook, and fruit knife, the knife handle is also covered in faux tortoiseshell and has steel blades which is common. The sewing tools are a mix of steel and sterling silver.
Condition: Mint condition, no chips, bites or age cracks of any kind on the shell but one of the tips on the knife blade is chipped as pictured.
