A circa 1850’s English fitted sewing case called a “lady’s companion” of black leather with gold tooling made to resemble a book. The interior is lined with maroon leather. Inside are five tools: thimble, leather needle case, scissors, bodkin and stiletto all in sterling silver with a typical Victorian floral motif.
Condition: Slight rub to the corners on the outside leather, rub to the inside leather where the top rubs when taking off and on.
